Test-excavations implemented during summer season 2017 and 2018 has been generosity supported by the local administration of Grosseto and the Province of Grosseto which are both essential partners of emptyscapes.

In that circumstance a small team of highly motivated archaeologists made possible to achieve outstanding results in very short time; in particularly the reach team was builded by: Dr Cristina Felici, Dr Marianna Cirillo, Dr Ken Saito, Dr Prospero Cirigliano, Dr Virginia Sommella, Dr Benedetta Baleani and Alfredo Biliotti.

Further supports and scientific collaborations during fieldwork need to be mentioned, in particular: Dr Emanuele Vaccaro for pottery analysis, Dr Mariana de Marchi for artefact analysis, Prof Pierluigi Pieruccini and Dr Davide Susini for their support and guidance in geo-archaeological research, Prof Gaetano di Pasquale and Dr Mauro Buonincontri for the implementation and discussion of results of archaeobotanical analysis on macro-remains and to Prof. Annamaria Mercuri and her team for palynological analyses.
